At Fort Tryon Center, we recognize that diet is one of the most important aspects of our resident’s life. We prepare gourmet meals using the freshest ingredients. Our highly trained chef talks regularly with residents to learn what menu items they would like to be served.
We are certified Kosher by the Vaad Harabanim of Queens and have a mashgiach on premises daily. We always serve strictly Glatt Kosher meat. Our Chef prepares culturally Jewish cuisine for during Shabbos and Yom Tov Holidays.
Traditional Shabbos meals are served along with the regular traditional foods you are accustomed to back home. Every Saturday afternoon there is also an Oneg Shabbos.
On Passover, our facility becomes kosher for Passover, serving strictly non gebrochts and on Sukkos we build a huge, lovely suka on our beautiful terrace.
At Fort Tryon Center, we serve cross-cultural Hispanic cuisine daily.
